The crowd rose to their feet as Team FlytvaesT's Paul Kielstedt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valter Lönn. That made the score 1-1 after 13 minutes of play. Sten Enegren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Valter Lönn made a huge save. Lyckeby GOIF's Herbert Möller pulled a muscle in his leg after 20 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 20 minutes into the game, Leif Örtendahl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Team FlytvaesT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lyckeby GOIF the free kick. The supporters of Team FlytvaesT booed when Lyckeby GOIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Kinnman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
