Mikael Johansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Folke Smed read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Mikael Johansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute, Ingvar Dahlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Folke Smed made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mikael Johansson in the 14th minute. Folke Smed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Johansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 minutes of play, Åseda IK's Patrik Simonsson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Söderberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when André Arvidsson got free with Folke Smed in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If André Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrik Markusson in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony Söderberg saved LANTKÖTT STOCKHOLM FF from getting behind. After having played for 44 minutes, Henrik Markusson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åseda IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrik Markusson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mikael Johansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Åseda IK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mikael Johansson to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Henrik Markusson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tony Söderberg. That made the score 0-2 in the 52 minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Inge Tunberg notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of LANTKÖTT STOCKHOLM FF's Tony Söderberg. Tony Söderberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Folke Smed showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Johansson in the 62nd minute of the match. Mikael Johansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th match minute, Åseda IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfred Söderkvist to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the game, André Arvidsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Folke Smed was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Mikael Johansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. LANTKÖTT STOCKHOLM FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikael Johansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folke Smed breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Kasper Nordlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ludvig Bergqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Tony Söderberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that André Arvidsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Folke Smed was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Åseda IK's Folke Smed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Johansson in the 97th minute of play. Åseda IK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
