The referee ignored Råttjägarna's protests and gave Alf Sigman a yellow card for diving instead. Kent Samuelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philip Brodin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alf Odén hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute Casper Hedvall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Samuelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Silja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Sigman came free, but Rune Wallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Råttjägarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Odén to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Silja FC were awarded a corner. Tobias Kellbom went to the cornerflag to take it. After having played for 35 minutes, Casper Hedvall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silja FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casper Hedvall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Georg Vester ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kent Samuelsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 42nd minute, Börje Gernberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dennis Wennerlund hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Casper Hedvall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Casper Hedvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philip Brodin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Samuelsson having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Casper Hedvall was the one to do the kick off. Casper Hedvall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Casper Hedvall in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kent Samuelsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silja FC's Casper Hedvall managed to work through Råttjägarna's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Casper Hedvall dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Per-Arne Ennegren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Philip Brodin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Silja FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Per-Arne Ennegren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kent Samuelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the game, Philip Brodin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Kent Samuelsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 90 minutes into the game, Alf Sigman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Rune Wallin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Silja FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Råttjägarna throughout the match.
