The supporters of Stora Höga booed when MS Granat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivar Uggstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rune Fastesson during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th match minute, Stora Höga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Fastesson to maneuver through the defense. After 8 minutes, Hans Lingren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stora Höga and the MS Granat players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Stora Höga getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Hans Lingren hit a great ball. If Douglas Nyqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14thth minute of the game Douglas Nyqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stora Höga's Hans Brandin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hans Brandin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Nyqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Douglas Nyqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rune Fastesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viggo Mårtensson's late challenge caught a Stora Höga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viggo Mårtensson helped the player get up and apologised. Viggo Mårtensson kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Rune Fastesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pär Skålberg was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. Stora Höga's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some careless play in the Stora Höga defense, Lukas Dahlqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hans Brandin. The Stora Höga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hans Brandin should have stopped the shot. After having played for 34 minutes, Rune Fastesson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stora Höga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rune Fastesson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Egil Öberg struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Conny Hökqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stora Höga. Conny Hökqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pär Skålberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pär Skålberg made a kick off. Lukas Dahlqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Brandin having to interfere. Lukas Dahlqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Hans Brandin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pär Skålberg in the 67th minute of play forced MS Granat's goalkeeper Conny Hökqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rune Fastesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lukas Dahlqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hans Brandin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lukas Dahlqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Stora Höga's Hans Brandin got control of the ball when Douglas Nyqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Douglas Nyqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rune Fastesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conny Hökqvist having to interfere. Conny Hökqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pär Skålberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Douglas Nyqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stora Höga's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
