Charles Magnusson's late challenge caught a David's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charles Magnusson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Stora Höga's Charles Magnusson got a free kick in the 3rd minute. A collision led to David getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ingvar Arhenius hit a great ball. Kalle Wall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Brandin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Stora Höga's Charles Magnusson got a free kick in the 13th minute. Pär Skålberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Rune Fastesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Rune Fastesson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David's Karl Mager played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pär Skålberg in the 32nd minute of play. Kalle Wall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Hans Brandin made a huge save. If Rune Fastesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rune Fastesson came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Stora Höga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rune Fastesson couldn't finish the play. Kalle Wall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hans Brandin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ingvar Arhenius was the one to do the kick off. Karl Mager showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Fastesson in the 53rd minute of the match. Wilhelm Biörnberg made a great header on David's corner, it was just that Stora Höga's Hans Brandin managed to reach the ball for a save. Egil Öberg's late challenge caught a David's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egil Öberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of David booed when Stora Höga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egil Öberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Charles Magnusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hans Brandin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Arhenius in the 76th minute of the match. Pär Skålberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Karl Mager tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans Brandin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Arhenius in the 80th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Pär Skålberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karl Mager. That made the score 0-1 in the 87 minute of play. Elliot Hellström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hans Brandin having to make a save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Stora Höga had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
