Oscar Nord received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ove Granström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Nord got free with Ove Granström in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Folke Tinglöf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Törnkvist in the 9th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Södertälje Titans got a freekick which was hit by Olof Stål. If Oscar Nord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Södertälje Titans's Ove Granström got control of the ball when Oscar Nord tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oscar Nord fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Granström having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Södertälje Titans's goalkeeper Ove Granström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Nord. Oscar Nord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edvin Bäcklin in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ove Granström saved Södertälje Titans from getting behind. Oscar Nord fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Granström having to interfere. Ove Granström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvin Bäcklin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Edvin Bäcklin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Folke Jonsson came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Södertälje Titans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Folke Jonsson couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Södertälje Titans booed when Trensum RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvin Lundin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edvin Bäcklin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Södertälje Titans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Hedberg to maneuver through the defense. Trensum RK's Kent Billing couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 54th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Södertälje Titans. Ove Granström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvin Bäcklin in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Södertälje Titans's goalkeeper Ove Granström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alvin Lundin kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Ove Granström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvin Bäcklin in the 66th minute of play. Ove Granström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Nord in the 69th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Arman Wennerberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ove Granström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Edvin Bäcklin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Oscar Nord had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ove Granström. Södertälje Titans's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oscar Nord was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Trensum RK had played much better football throughout.
