A collision led to Shrooms getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Kjell Björck hit a great ball. Edvin Bäcklin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28th play minutes Kjell Björck shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Folke Tinglöf and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilhelm Falkrans in the 32nd minute of play forced Trensum RK's goalkeeper Folke Tinglöf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Trensum RK's Edvin Bäcklin in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Shrooms's goalie prevented a goal. In the 37th minute Bo Sjöberg collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. Alvin Lundin charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvin Lundin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alvin Lundin hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After the first half Shrooms were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Tage Falkrantz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trensum RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harald Enström during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Trensum RK's Harald Enström got a free kick in the 56th minute. When Stig-Arne Qvalfeldt came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Shrooms fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig-Arne Qvalfeldt couldn't finish the play. Stellan Lilja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Tinglöf having to interfere. When Tage Falkrantz fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trensum RK's protests and gave Tage Falkrantz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, Tage Falkrantz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stig-Arne Qvalfeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edvin Bäcklin in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerry Kilman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Edvin Bäcklin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trensum RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvin Bäcklin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerry Kilman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edvin Bäcklin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Shrooms's Stellan Lilja got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Jerry Kilman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvin Bäcklin in the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvin Bäcklin in the 92nd minute of play forced Shrooms's goalkeeper Jerry Kilman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trensum RK were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
