Folke Tinglöf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niclas Zander in the 15th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Heberg RK's zone, Edvin Bäcklin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Martindale came out of the goal and Edvin Bäcklin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven Göransson hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Åke Forsberg during the 21st minute. Joel Martindale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arman Wennerberg in the 35th minute of play. Björn Nordin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Folke Tinglöf having to make a save. In the 41st minute, Maximilian Walroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Heberg RK's Björn Nordin in action when he in the 43rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Nord got free with Joel Martindale in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edvin Bäcklin to strike the kick off in the second half. Alvin Lundin charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Joel Martindale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 90 minutes of play, Trensum RK's Edvin Bäcklin made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Martindale was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Trensum RK had won after a very even match.
