Sjövik's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bengt-Rune Andersson 9 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Bengt-Rune Andersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Söder having to interfere. Ulrik Bennet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ingvar Söder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
