Per-Olof Ekström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolfsbergs IK's Per-Arne Borre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isak Larsson in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Per-Olof Ekström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Per-Arne Borre. Adolfsbergs IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per-Olof Ekström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Alf Åkesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Olof Ekström in the 27th minute of play forced Adolfsbergs IK's goalkeeper Per-Arne Borre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alf Åkesson in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Per-Arne Borre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. André Siggesson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Billy Browald read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. The wind increased when Sigvard Ödman made the kick off in the second half. Per-Arne Borre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per-Olof Ekström in the 53rd minute. After 58 minutes of play, Eringsboda FF's Per-Olof Ekström made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Per-Arne Borre was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 62nd minute, Alf Åkesson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Adolfsbergs IK defense, Per-Olof Ekström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Per-Arne Borre. The Adolfsbergs IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Per-Arne Borre should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Eringsboda FF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Adolfsbergs IK throughout the match.
