Mattias Björklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Ekegren in the 16th minute of play. Kenneth Håkansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elof Kollberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Daniel Backlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute of the match Charlie Löfgren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elof Kollberg skillfully saved the ball. If Timmy Jonsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Örjan Lind left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stand United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 47th minute Fritz Nordin suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The supporters of Brothas BK booed when Stand United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Engman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Backlund was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Backlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Elof Kollberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Daniel Backlund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elof Kollberg. Stand United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Backlund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Örjan Lind struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Mattias Björklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stand United. Kenneth Håkansson kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Mattias Björklund was a little too slow when Timmy Jonsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 86th minute of the match Aron Bohlin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mattias Björklund showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Daniel Backlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elof Kollberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Backlund ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Backlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elof Kollberg having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Stand United's zone, Kenneth Håkansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elof Kollberg came out of the goal and Kenneth Håkansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stand United's Eric Engman got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Stand United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
