The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Edwin Björnberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kyrkhult RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taraxatone IF the free kick. If Edwin Björnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harry Fastesson succeeded in the game's 10th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Taraxatone IF's zone, Alf Löv stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olof Glanselius came out of the goal and Alf Löv tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Taraxatone IF's goalkeeper Olof Glanselius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hannes Rosin. With a little luck, Taraxatone IF's Olof Glanselius got control of the ball when Hannes Rosin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute, Harry Fastesson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hannes Rosin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Olof Glanselius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yngve Vassenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvin Bergman in the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Carl Blom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taraxatone IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kyrkhult RK the free kick. In the 36th minute, Carl Blom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvin Bergman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 0-2 became the score in the 46th minute when Harry Fastesson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harry Fastesson made a kick off. Olof Glanselius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edwin Björnberg's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Taraxatone IF's Olof Glanselius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannes Rosin in the 56th minute of play. Alvin Bergman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yngve Vassenius having to make a save. Johannes Fransson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Harry Fastesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the game, Kyrkhult RK's Hannes Rosin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olof Glanselius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hannes Rosin in the 79th minute of play forced Taraxatone IF's goalkeeper Olof Glanselius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harry Fastesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taraxatone IF's Harry Fastesson got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hannes Rosin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olof Glanselius having to interfere. Lars Grönlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Olof Glanselius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olof Glanselius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hannes Rosin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvin Bergman got free with Yngve Vassenius in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Taraxatone IF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
