The Haparanda IK fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Haparanda IK's Rikard Rudberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Uno Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rikard Rudberg in the 42nd minute of play. Rikard Rudberg charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rikard Rudberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rikard Rudberg kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Sten Snell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peder Asserlind. Haparanda IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sten Snell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rikard Rudberg to make the kick off. Zebastian Falk in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The supporters of Kalvsvik FK booed when Haparanda IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Sandberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Peder Asserlind showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
