Spectators: 7345 (Terracing: 5511, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 145) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Einar Snell made the kick off which started today's match. Rutger Skytt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Folke Glad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Einar Snell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mats Håkansson hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Folke Glad came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Vimmerby's Rutger Skytt. But to his dismay, Rutger Skytt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Anders Skräddare might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Folke Glad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anders Skräddare ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Vimmerby booed when IFK Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Håkansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Rutger Skytt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Folke Glad was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Anders Skräddare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Folke Glad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute Alfred Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Glad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfred Carlsson to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anders Skräddare got free with Folke Glad in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfred Carlsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Folke Glad skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rutger Skytt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Folke Glad having to make a save. IFK Barcelona's Folke Glad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Carlsson in the 67th minute of play. Anders Skräddare succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 71st playminute. Simon Stålman kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. A hard shot 81 in the game by Alfred Carlsson from a close distance when the talented Folke Glad managed to make a qualified save. IFK Barcelona's players were relieved. If Rutger Skytt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anders Skräddare blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Folke Glad having to make a save. In the 89th minute, Anders Skräddare got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 93 minutes, Alfred Carlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vimmerby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Carlsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to IFK Barcelona getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Mats Håkansson hit a great ball. Vimmerby's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
