Stellan Åberg came out of the goal and Henry Winström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stellan Åberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Winström, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Henry Winström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SouthSideSquad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Winström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kasper Uggstedt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Konrad Elg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. After 25 played minutes Zippy United got a freekick which was hit by Algot Bergqvist. After having played for 28 minutes, Konrad Elg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zippy United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konrad Elg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Konrad Elg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kasper Uggstedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Zippy United's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Winström came free, but Stellan Åberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stellan Åberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Sjöberg in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Zippy United's zone, Anders Mattsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stellan Åberg came out of the goal and Anders Mattsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sverker Hedström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stellan Åberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egon Söderquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Konrad Elg came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Zippy United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konrad Elg couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Stellan Åberg made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Tage Fagrell sent off a good shot on target. Henry Winström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stellan Åberg having to interfere. Zippy United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Johan Sjöberg scored to the left of an out of position Stellan Åberg, making the score, 1-2. One of SouthSideSquad:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zippy United:s goal. Kasper Uggstedt went to the wrong direction when Fritz Ambjörnsson was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Kasper Uggstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Elg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Zippy United's goalkeeper Stellan Åberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Egon Söderquist. After 92 minutes Zippy United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sverker Hedström who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Sverker Hedström got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stellan Åberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Stellan Åberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egon Söderquist in the 94th minute. SouthSideSquad's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
