In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Zippy United's goalkeeper Stellan Åberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Alfred Carlsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vimmerby fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 71 played minutes Zippy United got a freekick which was hit by Johnny Falck. Stellan Åberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfred Carlsson's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Konrad Sundström in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stellan Åberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stellan Åberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anders Skräddare went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Zippy United succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Vimmerby had controlled the match.
