The player immediately received a yellow card. 8 minutes into the game, one of TRIUMF GLASS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Alunda. Nils-Åke Västerstrand stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gilbert Alströmer. 0-1. Inge Beckman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilbert Alströmer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inge Beckman's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 18th play minute Osvald Lundberg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Magnus Haegg. 1-1. Helge Dalkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magnus Haegg having to interfere. Gilbert Alströmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inge Beckman in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helge Dalkvist in the 35th minute of play forced Alunda's goalkeeper Magnus Haegg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TRIUMF GLASS's Gilbert Alströmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inge Beckman in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Inge Beckman made the kick off in the second half. Inge Beckman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gilbert Alströmer came out and tried to block the shot, but Inge Beckman slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inge Beckman in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilbert Alströmer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alunda's Jonathan Pååk got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Inge Beckman came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Alunda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inge Beckman couldn't finish the play. Osvald Lundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Helge Dalkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Magnus Haegg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Magnus Haegg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvald Lundberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alunda's Magnus Haegg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helge Dalkvist in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, TRIUMF GLASS's Osvald Lundberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Magnus Haegg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 82nd match minute, Alunda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inge Beckman to maneuver through the defense. After 84 minutes, Jan Sjögren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alunda and the TRIUMF GLASS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jan Sjögren hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Jonathan Pååk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alunda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. If Jonathan Pååk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
