The supporters of Valsjöbyn booed when Golf o Bois was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Johnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tage Haglund couldn't finish the play. After 42 minutes, Kjell Tönnberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golf o Bois and the Valsjöbyn players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Golf o Bois's Kjell Tönnberg got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Valsjöbyn's Sven-Oskar Lägdin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osvald Tham narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
