Spectators: 7263 (Terracing: 5449, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bengt Harlén got the match started through his kick off. Tomas Drewitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Blomqvist in the 6th minute of play. Bengt Harlén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Algot Arenberg charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Algot Arenberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, MeetYourMakers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Algot Arenberg to maneuver through the defense. Maria Sportverein were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after MeetYourMakers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Billy Nordin took the corner. Bengt Harlén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Drewitz having to interfere. Tomas Drewitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt Harlén's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 29 minutes into the match, MeetYourMakers's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Rudqvist came free, but Tomas Drewitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt Harlén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Drewitz having to interfere. Dan Rudqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Tomas Drewitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Maria Sportverein's zone, Bengt-Rune Giöck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johannes Runeberg came out of the goal and Bengt-Rune Giöck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bengt-Rune Giöck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Bengt-Rune Giöck managed to get in a good position for a shot. MeetYourMakers's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt-Rune Giöck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johannes Runeberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Drewitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Rudqvist in the 49th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bengt-Rune Giöck was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind MeetYourMakers's goalkeeper Tomas Drewitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. MeetYourMakers's Tomas Drewitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt Harlén in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute Bengt Harlén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Drewitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute Viktor Runeberg collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. When Dan Rudqvist fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maria Sportverein's protests and gave Dan Rudqvist a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Maria Sportverein getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Dan Rudqvist hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Dan Rudqvist put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tomas Drewitz. In the 68th minute of the match George Bredberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johannes Runeberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Douglas Överman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Johannes Runeberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Douglas Överman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Drewitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Rudqvist in the 77th minute. Douglas Överman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Douglas Överman took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johannes Runeberg. Johannes Runeberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 86th minute Daniel Blomqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Drewitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 played minutes Maria Sportverein got a freekick which was hit by August Målare. Bengt Harlén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Tomas Drewitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, MeetYourMakers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakarias Hedlund to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, MeetYourMakers's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Harlén came free, but Tomas Drewitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
