The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Viktor Runeberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of MeetYourMakers booed when Valsjöbyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Blomberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Douglas Överman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, Ove Olofsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Douglas Överman could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Tor Eklund however easily saved by the left post. Tage Berggren charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tage Berggren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sven-Oskar Lägdin scored 0-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomas Drewitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilbert Forsberg during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st match minute, MeetYourMakers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilbert Forsberg to maneuver through the defense. Viktor Runeberg hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Tor Lundström came free in the 47th minute and tried to tip the ball over Tomas Drewitz, but to the joy of MeetYourMakers's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Oskar Lägdin made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Valsjöbyn's goal looked a bit too open when Algot Arenberg came free, but Tor Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in MeetYourMakers's zone, Sven-Oskar Lägdin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Drewitz came out of the goal and Sven-Oskar Lägdin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven-Oskar Lägdin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. Valsjöbyn's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 64th minute, Ove Olofsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tor Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Giöck, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The supporters of Valsjöbyn booed when MeetYourMakers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Algot Arenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Oskar Lägdin in the 84th minute of play forced MeetYourMakers's goalkeeper Tomas Drewitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 played minutes Valsjöbyn got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Soned. In the 91st match minute, Valsjöbyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tage Berggren to maneuver through the defense. Tor Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Överman in the 92nd minute of the match. MeetYourMakers's Tomas Drewitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save MeetYourMakers from getting a goal against them. Tor Eklund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bengt-Rune Giöck went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The Valsjöbyn players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented MeetYourMakers from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
