Johnny Ahlberg made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Jakob Wik sent off a good shot on target. Archers of Loafcrosse's Johnny Ahlberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Archers of Loafcrosse from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute, Kim Nilsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Ove Norberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Rang in the 20th minute of play. Karl-Ove Norberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billie Ottevaere in the 21st minute of the match. Wied-iz-Zurrieq United's Fredric Markusson pulled a muscle in his back after 28 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Kim Nilsson charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kim Nilsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Wied-iz-Zurrieq United booed when Archers of Loafcrosse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kim Nilsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Archers of Loafcrosse's Billie Ottevaere got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Archers of Loafcrosse's Johnny Ahlberg got control of the ball when Jakob Wik tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jakob Wik made a kick off. In the 53rd minute there was a penalty for Wied-iz-Zurrieq United. Verner Högberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Johnny Ahlberg. 2-0. Johnny Ahlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bror Bergman in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Mattias Barck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, one of Wied-iz-Zurrieq United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wied-iz-Zurrieq United. In the 66th minute, the referee gave Archers of Loafcrosse a penalty. Billie Ottevaere looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Karl-Ove Norberg. Karl-Ove Norberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Billie Ottevaere showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 71 minute of play. In the 77th minute Jakob Wik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Ahlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johnny Ahlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Wik, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Jakob Wik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Johnny Ahlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakob Wik in the 87th minute of play. Johnny Ahlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakob Wik in the 89th minute of the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Jörgen Rang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Archers of Loafcrosse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jörgen Rang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Wied-iz-Zurrieq United's Roger Biörling got a free kick in the 99th minute. Jörgen Rang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Karl-Ove Norberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wied-iz-Zurrieq United were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
