Sparreholm's Edmund Kleen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Sparreholm from getting a goal against them. When Marcus Harman came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Sparreholm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Harman couldn't finish the play. Jimmy Stenquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Ove Norberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Harman went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Göran Hedman kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Sparreholm's Edmund Kleen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Sparreholm from getting a goal against them. Johan Botvidsson kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Sparreholm's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Biörling came free, but Edmund Kleen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Sparreholm were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Roger Biörling made the kick off in the second half. Roger Biörling took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmund Kleen. Edmund Kleen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Marcus Harman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Ove Norberg having to interfere. In the 59th minute, one of Sparreholm:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sparreholm. Edmund Kleen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakob Wik in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sparreholm's zone, Roger Biörling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmund Kleen came out of the goal and Roger Biörling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roger Biörling blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmund Kleen having to make a save. In the 78th minute, Göran Hedman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jakob Wik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Kleen having to interfere. If Jakob Wik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimmy Stenquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Karl-Ove Norberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
