Spectators: 6668 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Niklas Lindgren kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Bjurström in the 6th minute of play forced Östhammar RK's goalkeeper Melker Karlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Stoby's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Lindgren came free, but Malte Lundberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walter Holmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Malte Lundberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Stoby's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Lindgren came free, but Malte Lundberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Adrian Sörman fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stoby's protests and gave Adrian Sörman a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes Stoby got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Sörman. Niklas Lindgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melker Karlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Bjurström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peder Thidén kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Niklas Lindgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Malte Lundberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Holmberg in the 25th minute of the match. When Walter Holmberg came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Östhammar RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walter Holmberg couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the match, Stoby's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Lindgren came free, but Malte Lundberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Östhammar RK's Walter Holmberg in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stoby's goalie prevented a goal. Simon Lundkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melker Karlsson having to interfere. Melker Karlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Bjurström, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anders Bjurström to make the kick off. Östhammar RK's Kennet Rudberg shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 51st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Malte Lundberg but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walter Holmberg got free with Malte Lundberg in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anders Bjurström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Stoby's zone, Niklas Lindgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Malte Lundberg came out of the goal and Niklas Lindgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simon Lundkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Melker Karlsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Stoby booed when Östhammar RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Ström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peder Thidén struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Melker Karlsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stoby. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simon Lundkvist in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melker Karlsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Anders Bjurström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. After 88 played minutes Östhammar RK got a freekick which was hit by Karl Ahlén. Peder Thidén, 89 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
