Niklas Lindgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Igelström having to interfere. Östhammar RK's Melker Karlsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Östhammar RK from getting a goal against them. Nils-Åke Askestät fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melker Karlsson having to interfere. If Walter Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils-Åke Askestät scored 2-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melker Karlsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Johan Sandberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Nils-Åke Askestät had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Lindgren in the 45th minute of play forced Babooska Boys's goalkeeper Gunnar Igelström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walter Holmberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niklas Lindgren to strike the kick off in the second half. Johan Sandberg's late challenge caught a Östhammar RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johan Sandberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Johan Sandberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute of the match Matthias Rydelius shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gunnar Igelström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nils-Åke Askestät sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nils-Åke Askestät came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Babooska Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils-Åke Askestät couldn't finish the play. Melker Karlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Haeger in the 72nd minute of the match. Nils-Åke Askestät's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melker Karlsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. When Babooska Boys's Nils-Åke Askestät in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Niklas Lindgren came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Östhammar RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niklas Lindgren couldn't finish the play. If Niklas Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 98 minutes of play, Babooska Boys's Nils-Åke Askestät made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melker Karlsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Babooska Boys's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
