Spectators: 7215 (Terracing: 5412, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Holger Josefsson made the kick off and thus started the match. After 6 played minutes Mölltorp IK got a freekick which was hit by Johan Björck. Oliver Hedvall made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Börge Dahlgren sent off a good shot on target. Christian Algren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Oliver Hedvall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Johan Säv notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mölltorp IK's Claes Falk. Claes Falk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christian Algren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Hedvall having to interfere. If Holger Josefsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, IFK Megafonen's Oliver Hedvall got control of the ball when Börge Dahlgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oliver Hedvall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronny Blom in the 35th minute. IFK Megafonen's Holger Josefsson got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mölltorp IK's Claes Falk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hjalmar Rudkvist in the 41st minute of play. After the first half IFK Megafonen were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Algren made a kick off. When Börge Dahlgren came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Mölltorp IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Börge Dahlgren couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute, Johan Säv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mölltorp IK's Tobias Bengtsson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 56th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for IFK Megafonen. IFK Megafonen's Holger Josefsson got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hjalmar Rudkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Falk having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Holger Josefsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Algren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Hedvall having to interfere. The referee ignored IFK Megafonen's protests and gave Johan Säv a yellow card for diving instead. Johan Säv kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Christian Algren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliver Hedvall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Algren in the 81st minute of the match. Hjalmar Rudkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute, one of Mölltorp IK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mölltorp IK. The goalkeeper, Claes Falk, was totally fooled by IFK Megafonen's Sivert Fastesson, who 99 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The IFK Megafonen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing IFK Megafonen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
