Börge Dahlgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Söderqwist having to interfere. Tony Söderqwist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Algren in the 5th minute of play. Algot Nordgren's late challenge caught a Nybro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Algot Nordgren helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mölltorp IK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! Robert Stål shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 10 minutes into the match, Mölltorp IK's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Isaksson came free, but Claes Falk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Christian Algren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tony Söderqwist. Christian Algren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Johan Björck hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Leonard Bogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Falk having to interfere. Claes Falk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Isaksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 24 minutes, Michel Isaksson made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mölltorp IK's Claes Falk tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Claes Falk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Bogren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mölltorp IK's Johan Björck got a free kick in the 27th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Nybro's goalkeeper Tony Söderqwist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Börge Dahlgren. 34 minutes into the match, Leonard Bogren notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Mölltorp IK's Claes Falk. Claes Falk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th minute of the match Petter Malmberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claes Falk skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Bogren in the 39th minute of play forced Mölltorp IK's goalkeeper Claes Falk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonard Bogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Falk having to interfere. Claes Falk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Isaksson in the 44th minute of the match. Mölltorp IK's Claes Falk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Isaksson in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Michel Isaksson made a precise shot to the right of Claes Falk. Mölltorp IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After the first half Nybro were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonard Bogren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tobias Bengtsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tony Söderqwist. Nybro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leonard Bogren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leonard Bogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Leonard Bogren came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Nybro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Bogren couldn't finish the play. If Leonard Bogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claes Falk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel Isaksson in the 80th minute. Mölltorp IK were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Nybro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tobias Bengtsson took the corner. The corner ended in Tobias Bengtsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nybro's Tony Söderqwist did a great save. In the 87th minute Christian Algren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Söderqwist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Söderqwist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börge Dahlgren in the 90th minute of play. Leonard Bogren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claes Falk made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Michel Isaksson sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Nybro left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mölltorp IK.
