When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Åke Gallin put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ted Mårtensson. Solna IF's Åke Gallin got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Solna IF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
