Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Göran Klint started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 2 minutes, Samuel Cane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lappträsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Cane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Göran Klint had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernst Brogren in the 7th minute of play forced Sandsjöfors's goalkeeper Pontus Björkdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Ove Deckberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Klint in the 11th minute of the match. Lappträsk's Ernst Brogren got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stefan Snäll recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Lappträsk getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Malte Henriksson hit a great ball. The supporters of Lappträsk booed when Sandsjöfors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesper Hjortberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pontus Björkdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Brogren in the 26th minute of the match. Göran Klint kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lappträsk's zone, Göran Klint stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Ove Deckberg came out of the goal and Göran Klint tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stefan Snäll's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pontus Björkdal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Ernst Brogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pontus Björkdal having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Mark Tolsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lappträsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mark Tolsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stefan Snäll made a kick off. Jens-Ola Alefors recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 53 minutes into the game, Knut Rosendal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandsjöfors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lappträsk the free kick. Knut Rosendal kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Jens-Ola Alefors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivar Ek scored 1-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Ove Deckberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stefan Snäll struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Pontus Björkdal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lappträsk. Ernst Brogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pontus Björkdal having to interfere. Jan-Ove Deckberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Ek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Snäll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pontus Björkdal having to interfere. Malte Henriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Lappträsk's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Ek came free, but Jan-Ove Deckberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Ove Deckberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Klint in the 77th minute of the match. In the 83rd play minute Stefan Snäll came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pontus Björkdal. 1-1. In the 88th minute, Jesper Hjortberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernst Brogren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Lappträsk players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
