In the 14th minute Rune Pååk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tage Örnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Stonehill FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Andy Bergman hit a great ball. When Stonehill FC's Lukas Falkrantz in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Stonehill FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lukas Falkrantz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Rune Soned made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Gysinge got a freekick which was hit by Andréas Torsberg. Tage Örnberg made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Rune Pååk sent off a good shot on target. When Timmy Falkrans came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Gysinge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timmy Falkrans couldn't finish the play. Gysinge's Tage Örnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Falkrantz in the 61st minute of play. Stonehill FC's Lukas Falkrantz got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Gysinge booed when Stonehill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Falkrantz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th match minute, Stonehill FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erland Sundén to maneuver through the defense. Lars Karlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Falkrans in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Arvin Ahlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gysinge's Timmy Falkrans got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Tage Örnberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Stonehill FC fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Stonehill FC's Rune Pååk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 94 played minutes, Stonehill FC's Marcus Åkerström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tage Örnberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stonehill FC reached it.
