Färjestaden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Räggekulla FC the free kick. Johannes Söderkvist hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Sune Rang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Alexander Axelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kjell-Arne Rosén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Axelsson having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Räggekulla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Siöman to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Göran Rudqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Färjestaden's zone, Kjell-Arne Rosén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Axelsson came out of the goal and Kjell-Arne Rosén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthon Eklund in the 27th minute of play forced Räggekulla FC's goalkeeper Ingmar Askberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Räggekulla FC's Sune Rang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexander Axelsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Räggekulla FC's Ingmar Askberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Skark in the 33rd minute of play. Jim Högström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andreas Siöman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Charles Skark's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ingmar Askberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jim Högström during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

If Andreas Siöman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sune Rang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Axelsson having to interfere. When Kjell-Arne Rosén came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Räggekulla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kjell-Arne Rosén couldn't finish the play. Färjestaden's Alexander Axelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell-Arne Rosén in the 62nd minute of play. Ingmar Askberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Skark in the 68th minute of the match. Kjell-Arne Rosén struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Alexander Axelsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Räggekulla FC. Ingmar Askberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charles Skark went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Kjell-Arne Rosén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Alexander Axelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kjell-Arne Rosén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Räggekulla FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
