Agne Vennerström hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Tony Vallin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Adrian Brenner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Åsunden FK getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Valentin Samuelsson hit a great ball. If Conny Berggren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 minutes, Egil Siöman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tollered IF and the Åsunden FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Åsunden FK's zone, Tony Vallin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Brenner came out of the goal and Tony Vallin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Adrian Brenner managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Tollered IF's Conny Berggren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ronny Pil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Kim Wickander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kim Wickander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agne Vennerström went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Agne Vennerström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åsunden FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Agne Vennerström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kim Wickander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Agne Vennerström to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agne Vennerström got free with Kim Wickander in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sven-Edvin Hökqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Åsunden FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronny Pil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agne Vennerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Conny Berggren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tollered IF's zone, Agne Vennerström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kim Wickander came out of the goal and Agne Vennerström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Åsunden FK's Agne Vennerström got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 67 minutes, Agne Vennerström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åsunden FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agne Vennerström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronny Pil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kim Wickander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronny Pil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Conny Berggren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Agne Vennerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ronny Pil struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Kim Wickander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åsunden FK. Jimmy Söderström's late challenge caught a Åsunden FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimmy Söderström helped the player get up and apologised. Valentin Samuelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Tollered IF's Holger Haraldsson got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Agne Vennerström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Agne Vennerström got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Agne Vennerström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kim Wickander having to interfere.
