In the 11th minute Fredrik Vennersten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Brenner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Brenner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Magnus Tomasson in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Åsunden FK's goalkeeper Adrian Brenner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Magnus Tomasson. Agne Vennerström's late challenge caught a Fyledalen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agne Vennerström helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fyledalen booed when Åsunden FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jonatan Ahlquist the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Åsunden FK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jonatan Ahlquist had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 23 minutes into the game, one of Åsunden FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Fyledalen a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Elliott Mossberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Åsunden FK's Adrian Brenner. 1-0. If Agne Vennerström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute, Fredrik Vennersten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute of the match, Karl-Magnus Tomasson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Adrian Brenner was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 35 minutes into the match, Åsunden FK's goalkeeper Adrian Brenner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Magnus Tomasson. Ronny Pil kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Adrian Brenner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Vennersten, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fredrik Vennersten to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Åsunden FK's Kaj Albohm got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Adrian Brenner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Vennersten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolf Dalman came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Åsunden FK's Agne Vennerström. But to his dismay, Agne Vennerström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 58th minute Fredrik Vennersten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Brenner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Magnus Tomasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Karl-Magnus Tomasson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fyledalen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 67 minutes, Karl-Magnus Tomasson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fyledalen and the Åsunden FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Karl-Magnus Tomasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Åsunden FK's Stig Blom got a free kick in the 71st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agne Vennerström in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolf Dalman saved Fyledalen from getting behind. Agne Vennerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronny Pil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Rolf Dalman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Agne Vennerström came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Åsunden FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agne Vennerström couldn't finish the play. Agne Vennerström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolf Dalman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agne Vennerström in the 85th minute of play. If Ronny Pil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Agne Vennerström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronny Pil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Ronny Pil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åsunden FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronny Pil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolf Dalman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Åsunden FK's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Fyledalen had won, even though Åsunden FK had held more of the ball.
