Spectators: 7292 (Terracing: 5471, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 144) Sonny Carlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthias Sundin having to interfere. Matthias Sundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Överman, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. A hard shot by Ulrik Nyman from long distance, 8 minutes into the match, got Matthias Sundin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The crowd rose to their feet as David Karlsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Matthias Sundin. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. The throw-in from Hans Snell in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Spaten's Arvid Helberg. In the 18th minute Patrick Överman suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. After 18 minutes, Arvid Helberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Spaten and the Ame players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, FC Spaten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvid Helberg to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Hans Snell in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Spaten's Arvid Helberg. Sten Sjöman took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Per-Olof Törnkvist. Per-Olof Törnkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 26 minutes, Hans Snell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ame and the FC Spaten players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th minute, David Karlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 31 in the game by Sonny Carlberg from a close distance when the talented Matthias Sundin managed to make a qualified save. FC Spaten's players were relieved. Per-Olof Törnkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Sjöman in the 34th minute of the match. Ame's Sonny Carlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sten Sjöman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Sonny Carlberg made the kick off in the second half. Matthias Sundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sonny Carlberg in the 53rd minute of the match. Sonny Carlberg struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Matthias Sundin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ame. FC Spaten's Arvid Helberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hans Snell, made in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 67th minute, John Vestberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Sten Sjöman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. John Vestberg's late challenge caught a FC Spaten's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. John Vestberg helped the player get up and apologised. John Vestberg hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Ame's goalkeeper Per-Olof Törnkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sten Sjöman. FC Spaten's Sten Sjöman got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the game, Hans Snell threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Spaten's Arvid Helberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Arvid Helberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Per-Olof Törnkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Sonny Carlberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matthias Sundin. FC Spaten's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sonny Carlberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Ame were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Spaten for a fine match.
