Hedenhös FC's Henric Kellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Pil in the 3rd minute of play. When Åke Rönn came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Hedenhös FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Åke Rönn couldn't finish the play. Stig Wallman charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig Wallman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Charlie Gustafsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Christian Löfskog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Rönn in the 9th minute of play forced Långserud's goalkeeper Christian Löfskog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charlie Gustafsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Löfskog having to interfere. Christian Löfskog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Rönn in the 24th minute of the match. Åke Rönn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Löfskog having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charlie Gustafsson in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Löfskog prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Långserud's Evert Giöck got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Hedenhös FC's Åke Rönn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Löfskog narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Långserud's zone, Åke Rönn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Löfskog came out of the goal and Åke Rönn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Åke Rönn made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Långserud's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Rönn came free, but Christian Löfskog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute Åke Rönn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Löfskog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kent Pil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Charlie Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Löfskog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Rönn, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Långserud's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Åke Rönn scored to the left of an out of position Christian Löfskog, making the score, 0-1. Marcus Morat struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Henric Kellberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Långserud. In the 91st minute, Långserud's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Charlie Gustafsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Åke Rönn was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 93rd minute. Hedenhös FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The Hedenhös FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hedenhös FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
