Simon Stolpe hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 6th match minute, Rätan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Stolpe to maneuver through the defense. If Marko Vidman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edvin Lundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Sven-Erik Kristiansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 played minutes Marko Vidman rounded Rätan's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Asklöv in the 15th minute of play forced Älta IK's goalkeeper Sven-Erik Kristiansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 28 in the game by Gunnar Lennartsson from a close distance when the talented Filiph Stolpe managed to make a qualified save. Rätan's players were relieved. Filiph Stolpe made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Gunnar Lennartsson sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Rätan's Einar Östensson got a free kick in the 35th minute. If Gunnar Lennartsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Marko Vidman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kim Asklöv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvin Lundström in the 50th minute of play forced Älta IK's goalkeeper Sven-Erik Kristiansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

If Jörgen Fransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gunnar Lennartsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Gunnar Lennartsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kim Asklöv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Erik Kristiansson having to interfere. Rätan's Filiph Stolpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Vidman in the 67th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Edvin Lundström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rätan's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvin Lundström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Erik Kristiansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute Edvin Lundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Erik Kristiansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Einar Östensson hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Edvin Lundström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Erik Kristiansson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 81 minutes into the match, Rätan's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Lennartsson came free, but Filiph Stolpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Edvin Lundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edvin Lundström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Rätan's zone, Gunnar Lennartsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filiph Stolpe came out of the goal and Gunnar Lennartsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rätan's Kim Asklöv got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rätan eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
