Spectators: 7004 (Terracing: 5315, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 20) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sune Asklöv kicked off to start the match. Ove Tomasson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Oskar Åhman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 12th minute Sune Asklöv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Åhman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oskar Åhman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ove Tomasson in the 14th minute. Vedevåg RK's Erik Rosen got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Börge Blomquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Kvick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Skog's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Börge Blomquist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Erik Rosen struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Börge Blomquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vedevåg RK. Erik Rosen scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Börge Blomquist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute, Erik Rosen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Felix Skog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Strengnesia IF's Börge Blomquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Rosen in the 34th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Vedevåg RK's Felix Skog sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Börge Blomquist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39thth minute of the game Erik Rosen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Strengnesia IF's Börge Blomquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Felix Skog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börge Blomquist having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Strengnesia IF's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Skog came free, but Börge Blomquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Rosen made a kick off. When Boris Kvick came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Vedevåg RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boris Kvick couldn't finish the play. 54 minutes into the game, Sune Asklöv cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Oskar Åhman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Evert Telin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the game, one of Vedevåg RK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for Strengnesia IF. Manfred Tönnberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Oskar Åhman. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Skog got free with Börge Blomquist in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felix Skog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dick Ahlström hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Ove Tomasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Åhman having to interfere.
