After 14 minutes, Gilbert Andersson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Strengnesia IF and the Nordmarkshyttan players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Strengnesia IF getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Gilbert Andersson hit a great ball. Måns Dahlkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 19th minute, but Börge Blomquist got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Strengnesia IF hanging dry this time. In the 20th minute, Måns Dahlkvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Börge Blomquist. The goal made the score 2-0. 3-0 became the score in the 24th minute when Måns Dahlkvist elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Sven-Åke Lindkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Börge Blomquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philip Fernkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Andersson in the 31st minute of the match. Linus Esbjörnsson struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Börge Blomquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nordmarkshyttan. With his leg Börge Blomquist managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Nordmarkshyttan's Sven-Åke Lindkvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Börge Blomquist acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 39th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Niklas Berglund. Mikael Hård fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börge Blomquist having to interfere. Sven-Åke Lindkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Strengnesia IF booed when Nordmarkshyttan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Måns Dahlkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulf Gustafsson during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th minute, Nordmarkshyttan's Måns Dahlkvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven-Åke Lindkvist to make the kick off. Douglas Hagberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börge Blomquist having to interfere. Leif Falck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börge Blomquist having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Nordmarkshyttan's goal looked a bit too open when Sune Asklöv came free, but Philip Fernkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philip Fernkvist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ove Tomasson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 60 minute of play. Philip Fernkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sune Asklöv in the 64th minute of play. With 66 minutes on the clock, Håkan Åkesson commited a dangerous tackle. Börge Blomquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Börge Blomquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Esbjörnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Douglas Hagberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Börge Blomquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thor Vidman kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. Nordmarkshyttan walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
