Spectators: 7013 (Terracing: 5315, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 20) After a defensive mix-up in Borgstena's zone, Sune Asklöv stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zebastian Henriksson came out of the goal and Sune Asklöv tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Borgstena! In the 18th minute Jan-Erik Lundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börge Blomquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ragnar Vester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Börge Blomquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ragnar Vester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 played minutes Strengnesia IF got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Andersson. Börge Blomquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Erik Lundin in the 26th minute of the match. Ragnar Vester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börge Blomquist having to interfere. Zebastian Henriksson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ove Tomasson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sune Asklöv in the 34th minute of play forced Borgstena's goalkeeper Zebastian Henriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allan Kuse kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Zebastian Henriksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ove Tomasson in the 36th minute. In the 36th minute, Karl-Oskar Andersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Strengnesia IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manfred Tönnberg in the 39th minute. Sune Asklöv recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute, Ove Tomasson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ove Tomasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zebastian Henriksson having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ragnar Vester to strike the kick off in the second half. If Sune Asklöv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the game, Sune Asklöv was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Strengnesia IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borgstena the free kick. Sune Asklöv kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. With a little luck, Strengnesia IF's Börge Blomquist got control of the ball when Jan-Erik Lundin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Strengnesia IF's Sune Asklöv nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zebastian Henriksson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Ragnar Vester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börge Blomquist having to interfere. Ragnar Vester was extremely unlucky when he, in the 71st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Zebastian Henriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Sjöberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Gilbert Andersson hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Jan-Erik Lundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Allan Kuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Ove Tomasson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zebastian Henriksson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Anton Sjöberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ove Tomasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Borgstena defense, Ove Tomasson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zebastian Henriksson. The Borgstena fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zebastian Henriksson should have stopped the shot. Strengnesia IF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Borgstena for a fine match.
