The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sven-Olof Klack stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Olof Klack couldn't finish the play. If Fredric Rudkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes Strengnesia IF got a freekick which was hit by Marko Kilberg. 76 minutes into the game, Max Wikander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DIF Fotboll's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Strengnesia IF the free kick. An unexpected shot in the 98th minute by Ove Tomasson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
