Nils-Åke Olsmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt Olsson's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pumbas BK's zone, Bernt Sandell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Algot Karlberg came out of the goal and Bernt Sandell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Per Burman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils-Åke Olsmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Ödmann in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Inwardo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Sandell to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt Olsson in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils-Åke Olsmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inwardo FC's Nils-Åke Olsmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Öberg in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Pumbas BK booed when Inwardo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Sandell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32ndth minute of the game Bengt Olsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inwardo FC's Nils-Åke Olsmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt Olsson in the 33rd minute of play forced Inwardo FC's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Olsmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per Burman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils-Åke Olsmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Olsson in the 43rd minute of play. Pumbas BK's Algot Karlberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Pumbas BK from getting a goal against them. If Bernt Sandell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexander Stigsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Björn Ödmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Åke Olsmann having to interfere. Nils-Åke Olsmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Olsson in the 55th minute of play. Björn Ödmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Stigsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Algot Karlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernt Sandell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Algot Karlberg having to interfere. Alexander Stigsson took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Algot Karlberg. Algot Karlberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Bernt Sandell kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Inwardo FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Bernt Sandell hit a great ball. Bengt Olsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Åke Olsmann having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Bengt Olsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pumbas BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After some careless play in the Inwardo FC defense, Bengt Olsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils-Åke Olsmann. The Inwardo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils-Åke Olsmann should have stopped the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Inwardo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Olsson came free, but Nils-Åke Olsmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Bengt Olsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nils-Åke Olsmann was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Nils-Åke Olsmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Olsson in the 89th minute of the match. Otto Björling charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Otto Björling the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Algot Karlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Burman in the 93rd minute of play. The Inwardo FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pumbas BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
