Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sven Ryberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. Åke Allbom succeeded in the game's 3rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Sven Bivall kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Benjamin Björk was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Säffle's Sven Bivall shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 12th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jens-Erik Gallberg but with some difficulty. A collision led to Forserum getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Wilhelm Ekeroth hit a great ball. Sven Ryberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens-Erik Gallberg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 18th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kenneth Pettersson. Sven Ryberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, Sven Ryberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Åke Allbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Säffle booed when Forserum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilhelm Ekeroth didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th match minute, Forserum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casper Wästerberg to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Åke Allbom got free with Jens-Erik Gallberg in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Åke Allbom struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jens-Erik Gallberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Säffle. Åke Allbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jens-Erik Gallberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Ludvig Collin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Västerstrand to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Tomas Västerstrand recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonny Eckegren. Tomas Västerstrand showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Säffle's Sven Ryberg got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Kjell-Arne Biörnberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Allbom in the 60th minute of play forced Forserum's goalkeeper Jens-Erik Gallberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Forserum's zone, Ludvig Collin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Erik Gallberg came out of the goal and Ludvig Collin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Åke Allbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Erik Gallberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Allbom in the 64th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Åke Allbom in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Erik Gallberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Västerstrand in the 74th minute of play forced Säffle's goalkeeper Jonny Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Forserum's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Allbom came free, but Jens-Erik Gallberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens-Erik Gallberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Allbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Säffle's Åke Allbom got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ludvig Collin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kjell-Arne Biörnberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Jonny Eckegren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Säffle players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
