After recieving a nice pass, Knivsta's Bror Palmkvist tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Knivsta's Göran Uggla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Hansson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ettriga Dvärgars FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Knivsta. Bror Palmkvist stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonathan Hansson. 2-0. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Göran Uggla sped through Ettriga Dvärgars FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Hansson. Stig-Arne Bergman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torgny Sjöberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Göran Uggla to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Knivsta's goalkeeper Torgny Sjöberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Stig-Arne Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Samuelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute Eric Samuelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torgny Sjöberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig-Arne Bergman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torgny Sjöberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of Ettriga Dvärgars FK booed when Knivsta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bror Palmkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ettriga Dvärgars FK's Karl Wallengren got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eric Samuelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Torgny Sjöberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 72 minutes, Eric Samuelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ettriga Dvärgars FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Samuelsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Eric Samuelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ettriga Dvärgars FK booed when Knivsta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bror Palmkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball.
