An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörgen Palmquist in the 13th minute of play forced Bolltrolleri's goalkeeper Åke Stålman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gösta Bagge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Ek having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Malcolm Hedman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolltrolleri's supporters rose to their feet, but Malcolm Hedman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fredric Ek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fredric Ek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Bagge in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Bolltrolleri booed when Vittaryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Kleen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredric Ek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Malcolm Hedman in the 25th minute. Fredric Ek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Bagge, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Malcolm Hedman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Fredric Ek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Manfred Ahlqvist fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolltrolleri's protests and gave Manfred Ahlqvist a yellow card for diving instead. Jörgen Palmquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Börge Sävström kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The corner led Vittaryd's Leonard Strandberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Åke Stålman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Åke Stålman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert Kleen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jörgen Palmquist came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Vittaryd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jörgen Palmquist couldn't finish the play. Åke Stålman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Kleen in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of Bolltrolleri booed when Vittaryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Strandberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Bolltrolleri getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Gösta Bagge hit a great ball. Malcolm Hedman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Vittaryd's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
