Spectators: 7194 (Terracing: 5494, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gösta Bagge got the match started through his kick off. Malcolm Hedman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Kristian Nerli made a huge save. Åke Stålman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Molander in the 10th minute of play. After 14 played minutes Åkarp got a freekick which was hit by Elliot Törnblom. In the 16th minute, Gunnar Håkansson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Åke Stålman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Åkarp's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Bagge came free, but Kristian Nerli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Åkarp's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Gösta Bagge scored to the left of an out of position Kristian Nerli, making the score, 1-1. Håkan Kvick hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Åkarp's Ted Ahlroht took a good shot, in the 26th minute, which hit the crossbar above Åke Stålman's head, and flew over the goal. Bolltrolleri's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Åkarp. Åke Stålman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Håkansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Åke Stålman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Molander, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bolltrolleri's zone, Gunnar Håkansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Åke Stålman came out of the goal and Gunnar Håkansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Bolltrolleri defense, Gunnar Håkansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Åke Stålman. The Bolltrolleri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Åke Stålman should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Åkarp's Greger Apelkvist got a free kick in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lars Molander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Åke Stålman was a little too slow when Gunnar Håkansson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Bolltrolleri's zone, Greger Apelkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Åke Stålman came out of the goal and Greger Apelkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gunnar Håkansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunnar Håkansson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Åke Stålman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm Hedman in the 63rd minute of play forced Åkarp's goalkeeper Kristian Nerli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Gunnar Håkansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Åkarp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bolltrolleri's goalkeeper Åke Stålman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Gösta Bagge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunnar Håkansson took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Åke Stålman. Åke Stålman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. In the 77th minute Lars Molander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Stålman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Åke Stålman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Molander, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute.
