Spectators: 7403 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kent Wassenius got the match started through his kick off. Kristian Nerli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Wassenius in the 3rd minute of the match. Gunnar Håkansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Sven Bruhn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Molander in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven Bruhn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lars Molander in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven Bruhn saved Sävedalen from getting behind. If Lars Molander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven Bruhn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Molander in the 21st minute of play. Gunnar Håkanssons short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Sven Bruhn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sävedalen's Sven Bruhn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Molander in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Åkarp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Greger Apelkvist to maneuver through the defense. After 31 played minutes Sävedalen got a freekick which was hit by Rickard Larsson. After having played for 32 minutes, Ted Ahlroht managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åkarp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ted Ahlroht was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Greger Apelkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven Bruhn having to make a save. In the 35th match minute, Sävedalen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Rosendahl to maneuver through the defense. If Lars Molander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Björn Flink hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Molander in the 42nd minute of play forced Sävedalen's goalkeeper Sven Bruhn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lars Molander made a kick off. Rickard Larsson kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Sävedalen's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Molander came free, but Sven Bruhn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunnar Håkansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 71st minute, Kent Wassenius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Lars Molander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute, Elliot Törnblom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gunnar Håkansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Bruhn having to interfere. Sven Bruhn came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Åkarp's Lars Molander. But to his dismay, Lars Molander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 94 minutes into the game, Åkarp's Lars Molander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven Bruhn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Åkarp fully deserved thier win.
