The supporters of A.I.K booed when Östbjörka BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnny Lindgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Erik Frisck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pontus Matsson having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Östbjörka BK's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Edvin Ekeberg came free, but Pontus Matsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aleksander Galle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Örtlund having to interfere. Hugo Örtlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Einar Broman, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 19 minutes, William Boklund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.I.K and the Östbjörka BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, A.I.K's William Boklund got a free kick in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Östbjörka BK's William Hjelm broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 22 minutes of play, Östbjörka BK's Aleksander Galle made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Örtlund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hugo Örtlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Einar Broman in the 28th minute of the match. With a little luck, A.I.K's Hugo Örtlund got control of the ball when Aleksander Galle tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kristian Engström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aleksander Galle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Örtlund having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Einar Broman to make the kick off. If Aleksander Galle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristian Engströms short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Pontus Matsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 60 played minutes Östbjörka BK got a freekick which was hit by Johan Klintæus. In the 61st minute, Kristian Engström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Urban Kellberg kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Pontus Matsson made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Kristian Engström sent off a good shot on target. Jan-Erik Frisck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pontus Matsson having to interfere. The A.I.K fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when A.I.K's Kristian Engström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 88th match minute, Östbjörka BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Klintæus to maneuver through the defense. Kristian Engström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Pontus Matsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
