Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mattias Askelöf started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in A.I.K's zone, Mattias Askelöf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Örtlund came out of the goal and Mattias Askelöf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of A.I.K:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lokomotiv Eslöv:s goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Edvin Ekeberg during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, A.I.K was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Edvin Ekeberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Sven-Edvin Ekeberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stefan Arenius charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stefan Arenius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stefan Arenius hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lokomotiv Eslöv's zone, Jan-Erik Frisck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joseph Bergqvist came out of the goal and Jan-Erik Frisck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Bengt Rosendahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A.I.K's Pelle Olsson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lokomotiv Eslöv. Hugo Örtlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Jansson in the 29th minute of play. Gösta Jansson took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Örtlund. Hugo Örtlund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tommy Löfskog hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Joseph Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pelle Olsson in the 38th minute of play. A.I.K's Hugo Örtlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Löfskog in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half Lokomotiv Eslöv were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Gösta Jansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugo Örtlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Askelöf in the 54th minute of the match. Gösta Jansson in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hugo Örtlund, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A.I.K's Hugo Örtlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Askelöf in the 57th minute of play. In the 65th minute, A.I.K's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bengt Rosendahl fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Hugo Örtlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Askelöf in the 66th minute of play. Mattias Askelöf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Hugo Örtlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to A.I.K getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Stefan Arenius hit a great ball. Jörgen Löfgren shot from long distance in the 75th minute, but Hugo Örtlund was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Mattias Askelöf was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. Lokomotiv Eslöv's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mattias Askelöf in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Örtlund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hugo Örtlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Askelöf, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Hugo Örtlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gösta Jansson in the 87th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Mattias Askelöf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lokomotiv Eslöv's supporters rose to their feet, but Mattias Askelöf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Örtlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mattias Askelöf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kristian Engström came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the A.I.K fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristian Engström couldn't finish the play. Gösta Jansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Hugo Örtlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lokomotiv Eslöv eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
