Pelle Nordin ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Pelle Nordin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Inge Valrot was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. The supporters of Nämdö booed when FC Bortrekrysset was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orvar Landin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inge Valrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pelle Nordin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nämdö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Strömqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute Pelle Nordin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Valrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inge Valrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pelle Nordin in the 97th minute of play. The FC Bortrekrysset fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nämdö were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
