Henrik Westerberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michael Frisk having to make a save. Malte Finman scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michael Frisk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Malte Finman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 11 minutes into the game, CLUB Margiela's Henrik Westerberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michael Frisk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Gauthiod-Lirarna's Alex Hermansson got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CLUB Margiela's Tobias Lindell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Wallander in the 19th minute of play. Michael Frisk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malte Finman, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Gauthiod-Lirarna's goal looked a bit too open when Malte Finman came free, but Michael Frisk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michael Frisk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malte Finman in the 25th minute of play. Gauthiod-Lirarna's Michael Frisk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malte Finman in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of CLUB Margiela booed when Gauthiod-Lirarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip Magnusson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malte Finman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michael Frisk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Malte Finman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Frisk having to interfere. If Henrik Westerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anders Wallander was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Gauthiod-Lirarna's Michael Frisk got control of the ball when Yngve Asserlind tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gauthiod-Lirarna's Michael Frisk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malte Finman in the 59th minute of play. When Anders Wallander came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Gauthiod-Lirarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anders Wallander couldn't finish the play. Anders Wallander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Lindell having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Anders Wallander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gauthiod-Lirarna's supporters rose to their feet, but Anders Wallander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Lindell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in CLUB Margiela's zone, Anders Wallander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Lindell came out of the goal and Anders Wallander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvald Walmarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Lindell having to interfere. When Gauthiod-Lirarna's Anders Wallander in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CLUB Margiela's goalie prevented a goal. Tobias Lindell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Hermansson went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrik Westerberg got free with Michael Frisk in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Michael Frisk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malte Finman in the 95th minute of play. The Gauthiod-Lirarna supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CLUB Margiela's performance. The match ended with a win for CLUB Margiela.
