Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Reine Uggstedt started the match with the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ryssby fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! Sven Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Landin having to interfere. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ryssby's goalkeeper Karl-Axel Holm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Oskarshamn's Albert Björkman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Axel Holm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Albert Björkman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Axel Holm was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 30th minute Mikael Hedin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Axel Holm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Ryssby's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Hedin came free, but Karl-Axel Holm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oskarshamn's Tony Landin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Oskarshamn from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Björkman in the 36th minute of play forced Ryssby's goalkeeper Karl-Axel Holm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Axel Holm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Björkman in the 39th minute of the match. Albert Björkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reine Uggstedt in the 46th minute of play forced Oskarshamn's goalkeeper Tony Landin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mikael Hedin made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Christopher Rudqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tony Landin. Oskarshamn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christopher Rudqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Ryssby's zone, Mikael Hedin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Axel Holm came out of the goal and Mikael Hedin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albert Björkman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl-Axel Holm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Hedin in the 65th minute of the match. Ryssby's Karl-Axel Holm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Ryssby from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute, Albert Björkman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Axel Holm was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy Kinell during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th minute Christopher Rudqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Landin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Björkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tony Landin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reine Uggstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Ryssby supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Oskarshamn's performance. The match ended with a win for Oskarshamn.
